Bill Watkins works in Clipper Windpower's Commercial Operations department.  His primary responsibilities include managing the successful and profitable execution of projects and improving customer satisfaction.  Prior to joining Clipper in July of 2008, Mr. Watkins was employed for nearly ten years by a Caterpillar subsidiary called Solar Turbines.  At Solar, Mr. Watkins worked as an applications engineer, the technical manager of Solar Turbines' gearbox manufacturing facility and as a rotor dynamics design engineer. 

Mr. Watkins earned his MBA from UCLA's FEMBA program in 2006.  Other notable academic credentials include both MS and BS mechanical engineering degrees from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1999 and 1997, respectively.
