Derek D. Turbide currently serves as a Business Development Manager for Clean Energy, North America’s largest provider of natural gas for transportation. Mr. Turbide is responsible for Clean Energy’s natural gas fueling partnerships with transit agencies throughout Southern California. He is a member of LEAD San Diego’s Class of 2006 and currently serves as Chairman of the San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership’s Clean Transportation Committee and Vice-Chairman of the San Diego Regional Clean Fuels Coalition.

Prior to joining Clean Energy, Mr. Turbide was the Executive Director of the environmental nonprofit organization, I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) from 2002 to 2006. Before joining ILACSD, Mr. Turbide managed the San Diego regional marketing and sales program for Green Mountain Energy, the nation’s leading provider of cleaner energy and offset solutions.
