Haresh Kamath is a Senior Project Manager in the Power Delivery and Utilization (PDU) Sector at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). His current research activities focus on the development, assessment, and application of energy storage technologies for transportation and stationary applications. He also serves as the Strategic Program Manager for Materials for End Use and Power Delivery in EPRI’s Technology Innovation program. Mr. Kamath joined EPRI PEAC (an EPRI subsidiary) in 2002 as a project engineer in energy storage and distributed generation. His responsibilities grew to management of projects in energy storage, distributed generation, energy efficiency, and electric transportation. He was an author for the DOE-EPRI Handbook of Energy Storage and served on the board of directors of the Electricity Storage Association. Mr. Kamath received his BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from Stanford University.
