Jordan Newman is Manager of Project Finance at Tioga Energy, a solar developer and Power Purchase Agreement (“PPA”) provider. Tioga is bringing solar to the mainstream by owning and operating solar facilities and offering customers guaranteed long-term rates through PPA contracts. As part of the project finance team, Jordan manages all aspects of deal flow, from initial pricing to financial close with the banking partners. Prior to joining Tioga, Jordan spent 3 years at Sharp Solar, the largest manufacturer of PV modules in the world. While at Sharp, he was responsible for developing a co-branded residential loan program and for an aggregation and trading desk for Renewable Energy Certificates. Jordan received his MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business where he was President of Marshal Net Impact and did his undergraduate work at Tufts University. Prior to the MBA, he worked at Ernst & Young for four years as a financial analyst.
