Mike Marelli has more than 20 years experience in the energy industry in a variety of leadership roles in the areas of engineering, marketing, business development and wholesale energy procurement. He spent several years at Sempra International developing a variety of new businesses, including greenfield natural gas distribution companies. He also spent four years in management consulting at PA Consulting Group, providing clients solutions to manage business challenges in the wholesale energy markets. Mike has also worked for the Southern California Gas Company introducing new technologies to the market and securing new business opportunities. In 2004, Mike joined Southern California Edison and is currently the director of origination and analysis for the Renewable and Alternative Power department, where he leads the team responsible for conducting competitive solicitations and negotiating long-term renewable power purchase agreements for SCE’s power portfolio. He lives in southern California with his wife and two daughters.
