Discussion Topic |
| "How can technology and planning
effectively utilize water and energy simultaneously?" |
Background Information |
| Environmental and economic health depends on a
sustainable supply of both energy and water. The generation of energy
requires large volumes of water and the treatment and distribution of
clean water relies on dependable, cost-effective grid infrastructure.
Nevertheless, the interdependence of these two precious resources is
sometimes overlooked in discussions related to clean tech. How can
emerging technologies and effective public policy utilize water and
energy synergistically? |
