Director of Alternative Fuels Policy,
Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District

The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District carries 67 million people annually on 105 transit lines in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Levin has been with AC Transit since 1998 and is directly responsible for developing the District’s strategic marketing and alternative fuels programs, including the procurement of state-of-the-art, European-design buses and development of the District’s hydrogen fuel cell and hybrid bus programs. The hydrogen fuel cell program is now valued at $48 million, and is one of the largest demonstration projects of its type in the world.
