Kenneth Koyama

Manager, Energy Generation Research Office
California Energy Commission

Kenneth Koyama has worked at the California Energy Commission for 29 years, primarily in managing emerging energy technologies.  He currently manages the Energy Generation Research Office overseeing the renewable energy, advanced generation, and geothermal programs.  He has managed demonstration programs for heavy duty vehicles and advanced transportation technologies and has authored papers on fuel cell infrastructure issues for California, alternative fuel infrastructure networks, methanol supply and demand issues for California, and potential for low cost methanol to California.  Mr. Koyama received his bachelor's degree at the University of California, Davis and his master's at the University of California, Los Angeles.
