Visiting Professor UCLA Institute of the Environment


Prof. Magali Delmas teaches and conducts research on business and the natural environment. She has published numerous case studies and academic articles on corporate environmental strategies. She is engaged in refining methodologies to measure and communicate firm's and products' environmental performance. She is also currently undertaking a major consumer survey to understand consumers' response to eco-labels regarding the environmental impacts of products and services. Her current research projects also involve the study of firms' voluntary strategies to reduce greenhouse gases in the electric utility sector. Previous to embarking on an academic career she worked at the European Commission as the economic advisor of the Director for Industry.
