Mark McDannel

Supervising Engineer,
Los Angeles County Sanitation District


 Mark McDannel is a Supervising Engineer at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. His section is responsible for developing renewable energy projects at Districts landfills and waste water treatment plants, buying and selling electricity for the Districts, and tracking emerging renewable energy technologies. He has 29 years experience in solid waste, energy, air quality, and combustion. Mr. McDannel has Bachelors and Masters degrees from UC Irvine.
