Robert Gamble

Director of San Jose Operations,
AREVA

Robert Gamble began with AREVA in October 2007 and is currently the Director of San Jose Operations, a new office that is focused on both new plant engineering and engineering services for the operating fleet.  Prior to AREVA, Mr. Gamble worked for GE Nuclear Energy for 21 years.  His last two positions there were Manager of Engineering for the Economic Simplified Boiling Water Reactor and Vice President of Mechanical Design and Analysis Center of Excellence.  He has a BS, MS and Ph.D from UC Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering and did his Ph.D. research with Per Peterson of the nuclear department at UCB.
