Justin Ward is an Assistant Manager with Toyota’s Advanced Technology Vehicles (ATV) department. Mr. Ward is responsible for managing Toyota’s participation in SAE fuel cell and hybrid vehicle standards discussions; supporting outreach efforts related to advanced powertrains; investigating information and research related to fuel cell & hybrid vehicles (FC & HV); and evaluating U.S. suitability of fuel cell hybrid vehicles and gasoline hybrid models. This includes drivability, FC & HV control under various conditions, analyzing test data and issues on FC & HV control, among others. Mr. Ward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Davis in 1999.  He has been a member of SAE since 2000.
